Serenity
Had a really cool weekend. Caught up with Charlotte on saturday, went back to her's and had a curry with her mum and got pissed on strawberry wine! Was up really late watching Comic Aid for the tsunami appeal, bits of it was good, but some of it was pretty poor. Alot of the comedians looked like they couldn't be arsed and would have prefered to have stayed in bed such as Jo Brand, Johnny Vegas "Mcdonalds Yum Yum" lol, Dylan Moran - who I love.
Went over to Sarah & Adam's and watched Sarah struggly through loads of wrapping paper and unwrap her birthday presents and tell us all about Barcelona which sounds so cool, I've been meaning to get my butt over there for some time now... the Gaudi architecture sounds facinating.
Spent the afternoon mooching about in St.Albans which was cool. Bought some nice things, spent money I probably shouldn't have and we went for a meal in Wagamama's which was really tasty :) Hmmm Wagamama's 'yum, yum' ;)
Then we headed over to Hatfield to catch Serenity but before that we went into the newly opened Frankie & Bennies which out of all the big American fast food chains I love the most coz they're so 50's America with their oldie woldie hits like 'Blue Moon' and 'Mr Sandman' which just so happen to be two of my most fav oldie woldie 50's/60's American tunes.
We had cocktails and ice-cream which was yummy and very indulgant and I feel like I'm going to have to work really hard to work it all off now but what the hell :) Then we saw Serenity which was really cool. I really liked it even though I hadn't seen any of the Tv series. I am in love with River, she was really cool and just got me all hot under the colar when she was wealding battleaxes and swords :) I love close combat in films, bring on the swords, battleaxes, you name it. Guns aren't as satisfying but depends whose firing :)
