What a Beautiful DayYesterday was a beautiful day, though abit stressful too. It was nice seeing mum come off the train at Huntingdon. She looked well, all tanned - my tans pathetic now in comparision. I booked her into Braywood House which is the former home of the Govenor of Huntingdon's 'county gaol and house of correction' built in 1828, basically a prison :) But it's dune up really nicely and is pretty comfortable for mum, she seems pretty happy there - perhaps abit bored and relying on me to visit her regularly but otherwise she's ok.
After viewing some properties she's so far fallen in love with one... I don't really have much of an opinion about it the only thing concerning me is her persistance on the idea of me moving in, or moving my stuff in or staying regularly - all these things which just ain't gonna happen.
I keep trying to stand my ground about it but I just give up and am hiding from her until Monday... dread. I'm such a mean daughter. My dad's great, he's still in Turkey and hasn't bothered me once. He never would, even if he needed me he'd never contact me from fear of bothering me or worrying me. Which makes me so mad, I'd like to know when he needs my help. I just can't win.

Got away last night and made it to Andy's celebratory bash. Got very tipsy on two glasses of magnum champagne before making it to the curry house and continued to enjoy a few glasses of white wine, but by the end of the meal I think I sobered up because there was just so much food and it just soaked it all up. Everyone seemed to be talking about religious politics towards the end of the evening. Very dodgy :) I took some photos using Sarah's camera coz my phone camera was crap. And Charlotte took loads of embarrasing photos of me looking totally out of it. It was a really lovely evening. :)
