Vampyrum Spectrum Also known as the False Vampire, it doesn't feed on blood. It is infact a carnivourus bat with a diverse diet. It will feed upon small birds, frogs and even other bats. It is the largest bat species that lives in South America and Central America and has a wing span of 70-80cm with some exceeding 1m! :) I am facinated by this mammal as I've only just heard about its existance today!
