If I wring rings round you,
If you wring rings round me.
If I were to desire you,
If you showed you desired me.
Where and what would I be?
Who and why would you be?

Would you see, me, as I beckon from the distance.
Where should I remain?
Lurking in the safety of dense forests?
Sparkling like the surface of the brilliant sea.
Would you see me, would you feel me?

Would I, in all my glitter and gold spark an interest
In the cave of your heart?
Ignite a flame so high that the winds coax higher!
Could you deal me, in all the strangness I devour.
And should I stay lurking in the distance?
The depths of the night forest whispering desire.

If I wring rings round you,
If you wring rings round me.
If I were to desire you,
If you showed you desired me.
Where and what would I be?
Who and why would you be?
